Help Nepal Stop COVID-19 Human Castastrophe

Donation protected
Nepal is experiencing a devastating surge in COVID-19 cases following an explosion in cases in the neighboring country. Nepal's already abysmal health care system has been pushed to the brink and in consequence, the citizens are suffering. Authorities are struggling to provide emergency help to the rising number of infected citizens as the oxygen and bed shortages worsen by the hour. To alleviate the situation as best possible, a voluntary youth Group - Hami Nepali - has mobilized its volunteers to purchase and manage equipment and facilities in coordination with institutions, such as Bir Hospital, that are treating the COVID-19 patients, through collected donations. This GoFundMe page has been created to collect donations for the Hami Nepal group.

Hami Nepal, led by Sudan Gurung, has a track record of producing tangible and effective assistance through volunteer work and donations during public crises in Nepal; their efforts and assistance were widely lauded during the crisis arising in the aftermath of the earthquake in 2015. Now, again, when the hour demands extraordinary and selfless bravery and resilience, this group has stepped forward to help fellow citizens. We humbly ask for your donations to assist Hami Nepal and its volunteers in their mission to facilitate healthcare services for those suffering from the COVID 19 infection. More details on their accomplishments and plans below:

Currently, Hami Nepal has successfully set up 138 beds procured by the hospital itself and on behalf of the Hami Nepal Team, additional 147 beds have been ordered and the setup will be complete in the coming days. Once the entire setup at Bir Hospital is complete, we will then move forward to the National Trauma Centre, where we are planning to set up more beds to start another ward for the COVID19 patients.
