Help New York Jazz Workshop during COVID-19
COVID-19 has been especially hard on musicians and The New York Jazz Workshop .
We have transitioned some of our classes online but our most important programs in the spring and summer have been postponed indefinitely. Furthermore, we are unable to use our rehearsal studio and the rent, bills, and interest on loans are still due.
There is no news about our applications for emergency relief but, if and when this money arrives, it will not be sufficient.
We have invested 10 years of our lives building this organization with love, passion, and selfless hard work. NYJW offers a source of income to members of New York City's jazz community and has become an important platform where students come together to connect with like-minded spirits.
We urge you to support our activities in any way you can, join an online class, and/or donate any amount. No sum is too small. We are trying to keep our location, fulfill our obligations, and continue to employ our musicians and staff. Our faculty's livelihood and New York Jazz Workshop's future depends on it.
We love you and above all, stay healthy and be safe.
