Help New Yorks strongest who lost wife and home

Our DSNY family is in mourning as one of our brothers Joseph Ortiz, a Marine veteran and current Sanitation Worker not only suffered the loss of his home and all of his belongings to a fire, but most unfortunately he and his family also lost his wife of 14 years, Lisandra. Life will never be the same for our brother and his children. We ask for those who can, to lessen the burden while the family deals with these most difficult times. Let us all come together and help one of our own who has served our country and the city of New York for so long. Donations of any amount are appreciated, and will go towards funeral arrangements, housing, the clothing and the care of his currently hospitalized children.
