Help Jamie and Will Overcome Medical and Immigration Hurdles

Hello, dear friends and kind strangers. I'm reaching out today with a heavy heart to share a bit of our story and ask for your help as we navigate a challenging time in our lives. Over the past year, our world has been turned upside down due to a series of unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances.
Last year, I was diagnosed with a rare grapefruit-sized tumor in my chest wall cavity. The cost of medical treatment amounted to £3,000 before the NHS could intervene, adding a heavy burden to our already strained finances.
Additionally, as an American living in the UK, my work visa renewal through the NHS was denied last year. To stay together, my husband and I decided to marry quickly. Our budgeted wedding cost £4,000, but it had to be held in the UK, stretching our finances even further. We also incurred over £4,000 in legal fees while applying for a marriage visa for myself.
Amidst all this, we were involved in a severe head-on collision on the motorway last year, where a car stopped suddenly in front of us. Thankfully, we only suffered from hematomas and serious bruising, but we had to replace our car, costing us another £4,000.
As I am still waiting for my new visa to arrive, I cannot legally work yet, placing immense stress on my husband to cover our expenses on a single income. Our joint debt has ballooned to around £8,000 from my medical bills, wedding costs, and immigration fees, and we cannot seem to get on top of it while managing our living expenses.
My husband, bless him, has managed to pay a lot of our debt off, but we just never seen to be able to pay the remaining £8000 off.
We are not the type of people to ask for help or assistance, and my husband is unaware of this GoFundMe campaign, as I believe he would not be comfortable with the idea. However, I feel compelled to take action, as the government doesn't allow me to work until they grant me the spouse visa. My remaining family heavily supports MAGA and QAnon conspiracy theories, making it impossible to seek their support for the sake of my mental health, as they do not like that I do not agree with their politics. My husband's remaining family is unable to assist us financially as well.
Your donations will directly and immediately contribute to paying off our joint debt, allowing us to move forward in life as newlyweds. Our dream is to start a family, but with our current circumstances, that dream seems like a distant fantasy.
We appreciate any help you can offer during this trying time. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for your consideration.
With gratitude,
Jamie
