A FOREVER HOME for NYHIRA and ADEPA
Please help us to adopt our late sister’s beautiful children.
I'm Seiwa and my beautiful sister Abby, sadly died on Tuesday 25th March 2014, aged only 50. She died less than three months after receiving a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma (a plasma cell cancer).
Abby left behind a son Nhyira, who was 8 years old at the time, and a daughter Adepa, who had just turned 1. Abby had stated in her Will that she wanted one of her sisters to care for her children. The process to fulfil that wish has been a long and convoluted one, as Nhyira and Adepa live in Ghana, and my other sister Noelle, who is adopting the children, lives in America with her family. This means the adoption is not just a family adoption, but an international one.
International adoption is very costly and we estimate that $45,000 will cover the adoption fees, legal costs, medicals, a Home Study, and any other incidental costs.
2020 has been a difficult year for many, but as we enter the season of good will and giving, could you give our family the best Christmas gift ever, by donating to our fundraiser? There is no such thing as a small donation. Remember: we don't need one person to donate $45,000, we need 45,000 to donate just $1 each. That's all it will take - many people donating just a little. Sharing the campaign link to as many people in your networks as possible will help us so much too.
If you have any questions about this appeal or can help or advise us in any way at all, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can provide a breakdown of the costs involved too, so please contact us and we will be more than happy to send it to you.
Merry Christmas
Thank you and God bless you x
