Help Nick and Sarah Recover After Tree Damage

Hi and thanks for visiting our Gofundme page. On Saturday, December 14th, we had a 60k-pound ponderosa pine fall on the roof of our home in Meadow Vista, CA from our neighbor's yard. Everybody was inside, and luckily, nobody was hurt.

The house was deemed unlivable due to major structural damage.

Sarah, her father John, and myself (Nick) plus our four pets are all safe and have temporary hotel lodging while we find a longer-term living option.

We are raising money to kickstart our recovery, it will be used for things like food, a down payment on a rental unit, and cover lost income due to our home offices being destroyed. Our insurance deductible through Cal Fair is $5,000 and we'd love help covering that.

I know we have a great local community and many supportive friends and family. If you are not in a position to help financially and still want to support us, a home-cooked meal or temporary lodging for our pets are great options as well. Please reach out with any ideas as to how you can help.
