Update***
Early Saturday morning Nick left all of his suffering and this earth. We continue to ask for your prayers and support. Thank you and God bless you all.

Nick has asked to be left alone and in peace. He has hospice nurses attending to him along with his mom who hasn't left his side. We ask for your prayers to keep him comfortable in his last days. We also ask for your financial support as funeral expenses add to the thousands of dollars in medical expenses. Thank you all and may God bless you.

This is nick, the world can be a scary place for a 18 year old. Just finishing school, going out into the world on your own, and finding yourself. Who you are and what you want to do for the rest of your life. Now imagine being a 14 year old boy and being told you have colon cancer. But you still have hope because there is a chance you will live, you get a massive surgery done the pain is gone, for now.... a couple months later this excruciating pain you felt is back but now it’s worse then ever. you’re on you knees crawling just to try to escape the pain, you can’t eat. You can’t sleep you can’t focus on anything besides trying to stay alive. The cancer is back it has spread through out your body. You try so hard to stay strong because your mom is sitting right next to your hospital bed with tears that just don’t end because she knows something bad is going to happen. You’ve missed the chance to be young. You will never get that. All you have is the hospital room you have your mother with you trying to be as brave as she can manage but you know she’s breaking inside watching you die. This is the reality for nick. Nick began his fight about 4 years ago and went into a brief remission before the cancer returned with spite. Nick and his mom are in Arizona, where he just underwent his 5th surgery. The doctors inserted two metal stints into his colon so that he could eat. He has another surgery scheduled for later this week. Doctors put him in a medically induced coma when the pain became unbearable. The cancer has progressed all over his colon. Today we ask for your help in making him as comfortable as possible. Medical bills are becoming overwhelming , along with hotel bills that are adding up as Nick and his mom stay in Arizona.
