Help Nico After Eaton Fire

Donation protected
Hi! Our friend Nico Hernandez - a very kind and talented artist, musician, and printmaker - lost his home on Wednesday, January 8th, in the devastating Eaton Fire that nearly leveled the small town of Altadena in Los Angeles County. He was away from home when he received the mandatory evacuation notice and wasn't able to return to his apartment to retrieve any of his belongings. He lost everything but his car, his phone, and the clothes he was wearing, including inventory from his personal print publishing business. He lost his clothes, his computer, his toiletries, his linens, his kitchen, cleaning supplies, musical instruments, art supplies, his personal artwork, his art collection and archive. Eventually, he will need a security deposit and first month's rent on a new place.

Here's how your donation will help:
If you're able to give, these funds will support him in any unmet needs not covered by other disaster relief aid.

Any amount helps, but if you aren't able to make a donation, we would appreciate you sharing this with anyone who wants to give direct support.

And if you are wondering who we are: We are Paul Emerson & my partner Carrie Barrett. I'm a director and Carrie is actor-writer. We live together in Los Angeles and are dear friends with Nico's girlfriend, Lynnae. We wanted to connect people who want to help with a kind and deserving friend who needs help! We love you, Nico!
