Nicola's Journey Continues

Hi, My name is Nicola, those of you who know me know that I overcame cancer in March and came to Australia to visit my sister. While I was here, I developed headaches and went to the hospital. To make a very long story short, they found a tumor on my neck, and I also have a severe blood clot in my neck caused by the cancer that's stopping me from flying home. Due to the seriousness of the tumor and its aggressive, I have to have surgery in Australia on Thursday as a priority. My mam and dad flew out here last week because of the clot, but we never expected this news, and now they have to stay another few weeks with me until I am safe to travel; the operation is very serious, they have told me I would have difficulty talking and swallowing again, as well as other high risks due to the area it's in so I am praying all will go well. Still, I'm scared; I will have to have Radiation and Chemo when I finish, too, so I can't leave Australia for a while; I know how kind everyone has been to me on my first cancer journey. I feel bad for asking for help again; thank you all for reading my story and helping me and my family xxx
