HELP NICOLE BRAATZ

Donation protected

Hello,
My name is Mary Braatz-Laufer and I am the mother of my 47 year old daughter Nicole Braatz. My daughter, who had been perfectly healthy and hardly missed a day of work in her life, missed 7 days in the last month due to vomiting, ankle swelling and at times shortness of breath.

She had gone to the Doctor several times and to the ER, but because of the terrible epidemic with the flu season she was passed off with having the flu.

Last Sunday, January 21, 2018 , after a night of trouble breathing and vomiting, she again went to the ER. They did complete blood work  and the results were that both of her kidneys were only functioning at 5%.  The doctors said they were glad she came in because it was near fatal! The doctors at this point do not know the cause, but she will have to undergo dialysis treatments, 3 times per week 3 to 4 hours per day, until she is healthy enough to receive a kidney transplant.

Nicole has always been known as one of the most driven hard working individuals you will ever know. She presently works for a well known Printing /Sign Company full time managing the Sign Department.  Most weekends you will find Nicole in her garage custom painting  motorcycles for her own business or lending someone else a helping hand with their projects.

Nicole is a single women living alone in a recently purchased "fixer-upper" home that she has been putting her heart and soul into remodeling herself. She has the usual monthly payments that she always so independently made, but now will be a huge burden on her to pay them herself as she will be spending many hours in dialysis treatments.

Although it is my wish that one of my 7 daughters will be a compatible donor and provide Nicole with the gift of life, this will also increase the financial burden on our family.

It was our  Family plan to help Nicole take on this financial burden ourselves, but when we realized this could go on several years before she receives a transplant, we realized this financial burden is far beyond our means.

I struggled to even create this page, because usually we are a Giving family, but I find myself needing to ask friends, family or any other kindhearted person who has or has not  had the pleasure of crossing paths with Nicole. I hope you will find it in your heart to give a donation of any size you feel comfortable giving. It will provide Nicole with tremendous relief not having to worry about her month to month bills as she will have enough to worry about. Nicole also now needs to see a heart specialist due to her poor heart condition as it was working double time due to  her kidneys failing.

All money will also stay in her account to help her donor with any incurring costs. As emotional as this family is right now, I know we will have tears with every donation she receives, and I assure you,  We will all remember each and every one of you!

In advance, we are extremely Grateful for the generosity that you are showing Nicole, but also helping our family with this burden.

We also ask that you please SHARE this to your friends and family as Nicole has encountered so many acquaintances throughout the years with her business, that we want to reach out to them as best we can.

Above all, Please remember Nicole in your prayers!

Thank You!
