Help Nicole get solar lights and concrete floor
Donation protected
Hi, I am Ed and currently living in Vanuatu. We have been very fortunate to cross paths with a local lady Nicole. Nicole herself has 4 daughters and one son ranging in age from 8 to 23. Her husband passed a few years ago. Nicole and daughter Zoe earn money as nannies to our daughters. All six of them live in a rural setting outside of the town of Port Vila in Vanuatu. They live in a humble dwelling with two rooms. The house has an iron roof and walls, with a dirt floor. Three of the girls are still at school. We are looking to help Nicole source a solar powered system, mainly for lights and charging phones. It consists of a 150W Panel, 100Ah battery, 5 low energy 12V lights, controller and inverter. It will be part funded by a government solar scheme, part by myself and Caroline and hopefully the remaining by some of our generous friends and family.
There is no grid power to their small village. A small solar system will mean the girls have opportunity to do schoolwork at home. Charge a phone to stay connected. Provide a safer environment for Zoe's first baby due to arrive next April.
Your donation of even the smallest amount would be appreciated. Share a bit of love this Christmas.
