Help Nicole Walk Again after a Spinal Cord Injury

Please meet Nicole Gunter, a caring and devoted mother, sister, daughter and friend. She worked for 18 years as a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working in multiple houses, for those that would prefer to remain at home, as well as multiple Nursing and Rehabilitation Facilities all with the purpose to help people in their most pressing times.

On her way home from work on December 1st, she was involved in a serious car accident which resulted in a serious spinal cord injury. Due to the accident, she suffered from a T12-L1 disc fracture. After 10 days in the hospital, she was able to undergo surgery and luckily she still has function in her extremities even after losing signal for some time. After her surgery, her doctor explained to us that she will now be facing a long and challenging road to recovery. Her surgeon also informed her that she will never be able to return to work as a CNA; as they lift patients constantly in order to properly take care of them.

As a result of this life-altering event, she is in need of significant financial support to help cover the costs of her medical treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing care.
