HELP NICO’S FAMILY GET HIM VET CARE

Hi everyone, my name is Tiana. I witnessed a dog get ran over in a restaurant/shopping plaza and when I heard loud wails and crying from the dog, i ran over to try and held the dog in my arms to calm him down. The family was distraught, did know what to do about their dog, or where to take him because the cost of his medical care was a concern. They were about to take him home, but I encouraged the man to please take his dog to the vet because he needs immediate medical attention, multiple witnesses saw the car tire run over his entire midsection.

i encouraged the family to take Nico to the vet and I would help them apply for care credit to cover the cost. After getting to the vet, I kept checking in to see if Nico was there and getting seen by a doctor. Shortly after I got a message from the family saying thank you for my help and they were taking their dog home. I called to ensure everything was ok, but found out they opted out of additional Medical care for Nico because the Vet showed them an invoice of $2500+ to further treat him. The doctor says his intestine is damaged, and his blood pressure is low. The family cannot afford his medical care and I’m reaching out to the community for help for Nico’s treatment. They took him home without treatment and I’m worried he will pass,
