Support Nidal and Family from Gaza, Palestine

Donation protected
Hello everyone,

My name is Elizabeth Barnes, a US citizen collecting donations for my friend Nidal.

I am Nidal, an architect and interior designer from Gaza, Palestine. I have been fortunate to excel in my field, both locally and internationally. However, recent events have inflicted immense harm on my family and me.

In 2021, during the war, our dreams were shattered. The Zionist occupation destroyed our offices and workplace. Despite the devastation, we refuse to be broken. With determination and resilience, we began rebuilding from scratch.

However, fate was cruel once again. Our hard work lies in ruins, and darkness looms over Gaza. Forced to flee our homes and offices, we face an uncertain future.

You can see the extent of the destruction through the pictures of my collapsed office and projects.

We refuse to succumb to despair. We seek your support to help us rebuild our lives and strive for a better future elsewhere. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in our journey toward hope and healing.

Thank you for your support during this difficult time.

With all gratitude,

Nidal and family

The Wreckage of Our Dreams

"Our home, which once embraced our dreams and wishes, has turned into ruins. In every broken stone and every collapsed part, unforgettable memories reside. The war stole our safe haven and left us to swallow the bitterness of loss."

"Our home was our sanctuary; now it stands as a witness to pain. In every corner, in every room, the traces of war can be seen: the blood that was shed, the tears that flowed. The details of our lives are scattered among the rubble, telling the story of our pain and resilience."

"Every corner of our home now bears testimony to the suffering. The bloodstains on the walls, the destruction that touched every part, tell the story of our hardship. Our home was our refuge, and now it mirrors our agony. But we know that every end is a new beginning, and we will work to rebuild what was destroyed."

Amidst the Suffering, We Miss Our Passion and Love for Work

"In every house we craft beauty in a world full of transformations, we, as engineers, come to redefine beauty in every corner. Amidst the rubble of displacement and the pains of homelessness, our role emerges as creators of hope and restorers of life. With artistic touches and boundless creativity, we transform emptiness into a haven reflecting soul and beauty."

"Among the colors, shapes, and patterns lies the magic of the small details through which the interior designer revives spaces. In every corner and touch, they engrave their artistic signature to emulate beauty and enhance the feeling of comfort and belonging, regardless of the surrounding circumstances."

All these dreams and aspirations have turned into destruction and ruin amidst art and beauty.

"Amidst the wreckage of my office, lie the fragments of creativity that I once took pride in. Every detail, every design was part of my architectural vision, and now they are mere remnants telling the story of unforgettable destruction. This place was my haven for creativity and beauty, and now it symbolizes great loss."

"My office was the embodiment of my ideas and vision in architecture and beauty. Now, everything has turned to ruins, but I believe that beauty can be reborn from the rubble. Every destroyed detail tells a story of resilience and determination to rebuild what has been shattered."

Navigating in Times of War
"In times of war, transportation is no longer as it was. We were forced to ride on carts and donkeys, traveling on paths filled with pain and suffering. Each step takes us further from comfort but closer to safety. We undertake this difficult journey with hope and a desire to reach a better tomorrow."
"In the heart of the war, we no longer have the luxury of easy movement. Cars have disappeared, and roads have been destroyed, so we had to rely on donkeys and carts. Every journey is a battle with the circumstances, and each step is a testament to our struggle and resilience in the face of adversity."
