Help Nikki in her battle to beat stage 4 cancer

Our friend Nikki Sherritt was diagnosed with colon cancer in December 2021.

 

Nikki had been experiencing various symptoms for several months when she went to the ER on Christmas Eve in severe pain. While being treated for an intestinal infection, an abdominal CT scan and colonoscopy showed growths on her colon and liver. Nikki is currently awaiting the start of chemotherapy.

 

For the last 20+ years, she has worked as a freelance producer for film, commercials and video projects in Dallas and Los Angeles and now is a beloved member of the Washington film/TV production community.

 

Nikki’s last job was in November, and she cannot work due to her illness and treatment. She now has mounting medical bills and has more treatment coming up. We opened this GoFundMe so the friends and family who love her can help Nikki reduce the financial stress that she may be dealing with at this time.

 

Nikki is currently staying with her parents and kitties in Spanaway, Washington.

Nikki lives and invests in her interests and passions. Animals, nature and the environment, yoga, perfumery - these are all the things that feed her soul.

She is a passionate advocate of animals and regularly volunteers at local animal support groups. We can also thank Nikki for her work with the Green Production Program, promoting sustainable practices within production communities.

She has a deep love of yoga and has been in daily practice since she began in 2014. She started the 26/2 Yoga Teacher Training at Original Hot Yoga Academy in early December 2021. 

Nikki has spent her life in service to others and brings joy and optimism to all she does. Let’s help Nikki get through this frightening and challenging time with our support so she can focus on her healing and get back to doing what she loves.
