SO SINCE NOW WE ARE NOT GOING TO CLEVELAND SINCE NIKKY IS ENTIRELY TO SICK FOR SURGERY AND IS AT THE END OF LIFE....WE ARE HOPING TO STILL RAISE MORE MONEY TO HOPEFULLY DO THE THINGS HE LOVES BEFORE HIS LIFE IS NO LONGER....ONE THING HE WOULD LOVE TO DO..DEEP SEA FISHING....SPENDING QUALITY TIME AT THE COAST... UPDATE NIKKY IS VERY SICK HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO STAY OUT OF THE HOSPITAL HE HAS NOW BEEN APPROVED FOR MEDICAL TRANSPORT TO CLEVELAND HOSPITAL TO START ON SURGERY #1 TO CLEAN UP/REPAIR ALL HIS 6 FISTULAS ON ABDOMEN AND BUTT CHEEKS...THEN AFTER HEALED COMES INTESTINAL TRANSPLANT....NIKKY IS VERY HIGH RISK WITH ANY SURGERY...THESE 2 ARE MAJOR..WE NEED PRAYER AND GOOD THOUGHTS...AND DONATIONS WE EILL BE GONE A YEAR OR MORE...I WILL NOT HAVE AN INCOME BECAUSE I WILL BE 24/7 CARE TAKER FOT HIM THSTS MANDATORY.......Hello,most of you might know nikky or know of him and his incredibly long journey of illness surgeries and hospitalizations..if you don't...here goes..age 9 diagnosed with ulcerative colitis spent a year at doernbechers children's hospital very sick..Drs realized surgery was his only option..so 3 surgeries then all better.,.but that was not the case... Nikky continued to get sicker and sicker...he's had to date 70 surgeries. Some in California some in Portland some in Eugene...far away from family Friends and all who care about nikky. Nikky is now 30 and is now come to a point where all medications for his Crohn's has stopped working...nothing new out there works...he is now needing a intestinal transplant in Cleveland Ohio..once he is on UNOS list...which will be in the next couple months we...me his mom and him have to move there it is protocol.. mandatory for him to be in Cleveland when an intestine becomes available. So we are starting to fundraiser to be able to pay our rent here and living expenses there...we will be there about 1 year....there is a house for post transplant patients and care giver...me but at a cost ....we desperately need any and all help....please if you can donate...share this to your pages and help get the word out...to save my son's life. He's an incredible young man..he has a big heart loves life and his family...he deserves a chance at a healthy life......thank you
