My name is Nina Yanai, a 16-year-old upcoming junior at Waipahu High School in Waipahu , Hawaii. I am deeply honored to share that alongside two dedicated teammates, I've been selected to represent Team USA in the Junior National Karate Competition, to be held in Santiago, Chile.

Competing in the Team Kata category, we have the unique opportunity to showcase our skills and represent the heart and spirit of Hawaii, as well as our beloved United States, on the global stage. However, to realize this dream and make the journey to Chile, I need to raise $7,000. These funds will go towards essential expenses such as airfare, accommodation, meals, uniforms, and other competition-related costs.
