Help Nina & Deacon Rebuild After The LA Fires

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are reaching out on behalf of our loved ones, Nina and her 6-year-old son, Deacon, who have just experienced an unimaginable tragedy. Yesterday, the devastating fires in the Palisades completely destroyed their home and their neighborhood, leaving nothing but ashes behind.

Nina and Deacon had to evacuate quickly, taking only what they could carry.

Just last month, Deacon celebrated his 6th birthday in the family home Nina has cherished that was passed down from her grandparents to her dad then her. That home, along with countless memories and their sense of security, is now gone. To make matters even more difficult, fire insurance was not available to the area where they lived and most of the community was not covered either, leaving them with no financial safety net to start over.

Nina has been a pillar of strength and kindness for everyone she meets in her personal and professional life and we cannot express enough how devastated we are for her and Deacon.

Nina dreams of returning home one day to raise Deacon, but the road between now and then will be long and not short of struggle. Her and Deacon are beginning the journey of rebuilding their lives from scratch. This is where we can come together as a community to help.
