We as students at our High School, can imagine a harsh reality regarding the condition of our some of local schools in the state whose families cannot afford to fund basic school supplies. As part of our efforts with these free virtual coding classes, we've encouraged families to donate to address an often overlooked problem – meeting basic classroom needs of public-school teachers.

Schools often rely on contributions from families, but not all are capable of providing this level of support. This raises a crucial question: how do teachers fulfill their basic classroom needs in such circumstances? This challenge inspired us to look for solutions and led us to DonorsChoose.org, an organization that allows teachers to list their project and its requirements, and also allow people to fund those projects.
