Story:
Dear friends, family, and kind individuals ,

My name is Kehinde, and I am reaching out to you today to share the story of our beloved Nnamdi, a vibrant and caring individual who has been diagnosed with Bilateral Nephrolithiasis, a painful and debilitating condition where kidney stones form in both kidneys.

Nnamdi’s Journey:
Nnamdi is 32years old, he has always been a pillar of strength and positivity to everyone around him. He is a dedicated christian, a loving husband, father, and a supportive friend.
Nnamdi graduated as the best graduating student in his set when
he studied science lab tech at Yabatech . He was a scientist working on petrochemical products making sure that most of the Nigerian oil industry get pure fuel without contamination, before the illness made it impossible for him to work.
Nnamdi has lived a healthy life up until the year 2017, when his life took an unexpected turn and he started experiencing severe pain, frequent infections, and intense discomfort.
After numerous doctor visits and extensive tests, Nnamdi was diagnosed with Bilateral Nephrolithiasis.
Eventually in November 2021, , he had the first surgery, a PCNL on the left kidney to remove the stones. He was scheduled to go in for another PCNL on the right kidney the following year 2022 (February/March) only for the excruciating pain on both sides to begin again, barely a month and some weeks after the first surgery.
The hospital trips began again, at this point, he had been laid off work, and was living off donations from friends, family and other well-meaning individuals. Through the years, he has had to rely on very strong pain medications to get some relief from the excruciating pain, and sometimes, the pain episodes persist and becomes really severe, that he would get rushed to the hospital for expert management.
Further tests were done and he was told that he had to get the multiple stones in both kidneys removed as soon as possible before they block his ureters and the situation becomes irredeemable. The pain he was feeling was as a result of the size of the stones and where they were located and he needed to act fast to save his kidneys from packing up.

The Struggles:
This condition has brought significant challenges to Nnamdi's life. The constant pain and frequent hospital visits have made it difficult for him to continue working and taking care of his family. The financial burden of medical bills, treatments, and medications is overwhelming. Nnamdi needs multiple surgeries to remove the kidney stones and ongoing treatment to prevent recurrence.
A total of N16,630,000 (Sixteen million, Six hundred and Thirty million naira) would be required for the surgery and he would have to undergo nothing less than 3 surgical procedures for the stones to be completely removed from both kidneys.

How You Can Help:
I have started this GoFundMe campaign to support Nnamdi through this tough time. Our goal is to raise £15,000 to cover his medical expenses, surgeries, medications, and essential living costs while he is unable to work. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in Nnamdi's journey towards recovery.

Your Support Means the World:
By donating to Nnamdi's GoFundMe, you are helping to relieve the financial stress and allowing him to focus on getting better. You are also showing him that he is not alone in this fight. Your support, prayers, and kind words will provide Nnamdi with the strength he needs to overcome this challenge.

Share and Spread the Word:
Even if you are unable to donate, you can still help Nnamdi by sharing this campaign with your network. Spreading the word will increase our chances of reaching the goal and providing Nnamdi with the support he desperately needs.

With heartfelt gratitude
