Help Noe Kellum in Boat Crisis

Hello all,

My name is Pressley Kellum, Noe Kellum’s daughter. November 25th, 2021, Thanksgiving Day; my dad left his boat for an hour and a half to have dinner with family friends. Everything was fine before he left and he had no concerns about his boat while he was gone. However, just within that hour he went back to the dock to get something for a friend and that’s when he walked upon every shrimpers fear. His boat took on water and sunk. Leaving him with no tools, no clothes, and almost everything he owned ruined. Not only was his boat sunk, but so was his home. You see my father has build up from scratch, working exhausting hours and paying thousands to be able to have this vessel. He had over $5000 worth of equipment, tools, and electronics on her. This has been a detrimental accident for him and our family. Shrimping season is almost over and instead of finishing out the season before winter, he is going to have to rebuild everything he has worked for.

As his first mate and his daughter, I’m asking everyone this, if there is ANYTHING you could do to help my dad during this event we will be forever thankful.
