Help Noelia after surgery

Noelia Mejias is a single mother of two children and a grandmother of two. She singlehandedly supports her children and grandchildren . She has worked hard to take care of her children and now finds herself in a difficult situation.

In August 18th, 2020, Noelia had an accident in which she suffered severe injuries to her neck and back. Almost a year later on June 6th,2021,she had to undergo surgery to decompress her spinal cord. Unfortunately, due to the severity of her injuries, the surgery was not completely successful. Part of her spinal cord is still compressed, and her doctor has advised her that she will require another surgery in the near future.

As a result of this accident and the surgery, Noelia has not recovered and cannot return to work, as advised by her doctor.

As another year passes,she has exhausted all other paid work leave and has been forced to take a long-term leave from her job with no pay.

Noelia has since applied for government assistance and, unfortunately, has been denied and is currently in the appeal process. As a single mother, she has exhausted all economic resources and finds herself unable to pay her home, buy the bare necessities, or even pay for her medical needs. Thankfully, food stamps have helped her keep herself and her children fed but is in dire need of help to keep a roof over her and her children.
