Help Nora's Emergency Surgery Fund

Donation protected
On Tuesday, July 11th Nora was taken to Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, one of the only hospitals open at the time. She was diagnosed with Gastric Dilatation Volvulus, a.k.a. Bloat. We were given two options, agree to pay up to 12 grand for emergency surgery that, if all went well, would save her life or not go through with surgery and they would have to humanely euthanize her. We rescued Nora at 9 years old in 2020. Although she's twelve now, she still loves to run with the pack, play and be treated like the puppy she is inside. We knew neither of us was ready to say goodbye, especially her, and she proved us right when she made it through surgery with better results than expected!

Nora changed our lives and brought light and love into our world that we didn't know before, and I don't think it was just Derrick and I that felt that. She is truly loved by us and everyone that has met her. She is such a good pup and was worth more than the amount needed for this surgery. That being said, Derrick and I are not the type to ask for help but the fact that the doctors themselves even knew it was a lot told us that in this scenario, it's okay to ask. Whatever you can spare to help us get out of the severe debt this emergency put us in is greatly appreciated and even sharing this information for others means the world to us.

Thank you so much,
Sarah, Derrick and Nora
