Help Nori get to the Paris Paralympics to support her son!

We are a group of colleagues here at the Belgravia GOswim Contact Centre on a mission to support one of our beloved teammates in achieving a heartfelt goal. We want to help Nori, the wonderful mother of a young Paralympian swimmer, get to Paris to watch her son compete in the 2024 Paralympics and make their dreams come true.
Ricky Betar, who is close to breaking the world record, has been selected for the Paralympics and will swim in the following events:
- 100m Butterfly
- 200m Freestyle
- 200m Individual Medley
- 100m Backstroke
Ricky is an amazing person who is competing for his country and has stated that his goal is, “not to go to Paris as a tourist, but to make his country proud”. Ricky's time in 200 Individual Medley is currently the 6th ranking in the world.
Like many Paralympians, Ricky has faced numerous trials and challenges, but he has persevered and finally his dream has become a reality.
Having his mum Nori watch him at the games would mean the world to Ricky, as she is his number one fan and has been there to support him over his swimming career. Unfortunately, Nori is not in a financial position to fly to Paris as they recently moved to Queensland and have little support or family assistance.
It would absolutely break both Ricky and Nori’s hearts if Nori cannot watch her son at the Paralympics, so we are reaching out to ask for any financial assistance you could contribute to help.
Your contributions will go towards return flights and accommodation for Nori to help ensure that she can be there to cheer her son on in Paris. Thank you for helping us support this incredible family.
