Help Norman Jackson Rebuild His Life
Donation protected
On December 17, Norman Jackson’s life changed forever. He suffered a catastrophic stroke that left him completely paralyzed and on life support. However, Nora, his wife, discovered Norman was still in there and able to communicate solely through the movement of his eyes.
He has miraculously begun to regain nerve sensations, limited movement, and even breathing on his own. A strong, capable man who worked in construction, Norman is now facing the greatest challenge of his life — learning how to move, speak, and live again.
Norman and his wife, Nora, live in rural central Oklahoma, where they were already struggling to make ends meet. Despite financial hardship, they’ve always stepped up for family — caring not only for Norman’s aging mother, but also, when needed, supporting their adult children and their families, all under one roof.
Tragically, Norman had no insurance at the time of the stroke. Nora had just qualified for company insurance through her job at AT&T, but it didn’t kick in until January 1 — after the most critical and expensive weeks of care.
Since that day, Nora hasn’t left Norman’s side. She’s slept every night at the hospital, only returning to work on March 1 — transferring to a store 15 minutes from the hospital (home is an hour away) just to remain near him.
They are now surviving on her retail salary alone, facing mounting medical bills, travel costs, and the overwhelming expenses of long-term rehabilitation.
That’s why we’re asking for your help.
Your donation will help cover:
Intensive rehab and physical therapy
Essential medical equipment and supplies
Home modifications to make their space accessible
Travel and caregiving costs
Basic living expenses while Norman works toward independence
Norman has always been the one to offer a hand, build something from nothing, and put others first. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.
If you can donate, no matter how small, we are deeply grateful. If not, please share this campaign with your friends, family, church, or community. Together, we can help Norman find his way back.
Thank you from all of us who love him.
