Help Nottingham Caesars Replace Damaged Equipment
Donation protected
After a fantastic 2021 Season, The Nottingham Caesars American Football Team have continued to recruit really well. During the past season we were able to increase participation at both the U19 and Senior Levels, by being able to get some of our players into club owned equipment for a nominal rental fee: it is such an expensive sport to take up. We know that after a season of playing, you'll likely want to continue and then have good chance to purchase your own equipment.
This is when the disaster has struck!
Over the Winter, our Equipment store was unfortunately found by some Rats or Mice. Not unlike the hungry caterpillar, these hungry rodents managed to chew through:
the laces in 8 leather footballs, and 7 composite.
10 sets of soft padding
12 helmet liners and cheek pads
9 padded parts of Shoulder pads
Multiple gameday jerseys and pants
A bunch of training Jerseys
We are desperate to not have to pass these costs onto the players to replace as we want to continue to increase participation of American Football in the East Midlands. While we are able to continue we KNOW that there are so many good people in Britball that have the same aspirations in growing the game.
So if you can support in any way, that would be amazing. Whether you can:
- Have old pads/helmets that the padding can be salvaged
- support the GoFundMe
- direct bank transfer to our club account (if you don't agree with GoFundMe)
- Buy equipment directly from Football America UK/Ep Sports
- donate old equipment in your loft/store/wardrobe
- own a business and are looking for a charity/sponsor to close out the financial year
- know somebody that is interested in sponsoring an amazing team!
or if you cant do any of that:
