Help Nova Overcome Her Health Battle
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cindy, and I would like to introduce you to my four-year-old German Shepherd. I brought her home on Christmas Eve four years ago, and ever since she was a puppy, she has been incredibly cuddly, sweet, and a bit anxious. She truly is the kindest German Shepherd you could ever meet.
A couple of months back, I took her to the vet for some tests, and after a few weeks of medication, it seemed like her condition was only getting worse. Today, we went back to the vet and visited two different pet hospitals from 7 AM to 4 PM, only to receive the heartbreaking news that she has a large mass (a tumor). This was the last thing I ever expected to hear.
In short, the vets have advised that she needs to be hospitalized for a few days to stabilize her before they can proceed with immediate surgery because she is so weak. However, there are significant risks involved, and the alternative would be to consider euthanasia (putting her to sleep). The costs for her overnight stays and the surgery will amount to several thousand dollars, which I unfortunately cannot afford. Hearing this has completely shattered my heart, and the weight of the day has felt overwhelming, like a sudden blow.
It would mean so much to my family and me if you could contribute anything, even a dollar. Thank you for your kindness and support.
