Help Nugget Fight Cancer
Donation protected
This is Nugget, the most calm, the sweetest, and the most beautiful dog, inside and out. She has been with us for 4 and a half years, originally rescued by the Dog-Go Project and Canine Haven from Mexico. She is now 7 years old.
Right before Christmas, she had been diagnosed with B-cell Canine Lymphoma. It is a fatal illness that with no treatment, she will leave us in 1-2 months.
As devastated as we are, we are going to put Nugget on chemotherapy, which will buy her more time and also greatly benefit the quality of her life.
Nugget is more than a family member to us. She is the center of our life, our light and our joy. When her mommy, Fen, adopted her, they both saved each other by beginning a loving and fulfilling life. Doing everything together and going to places everyday with each other side by side. Nugget was Fen's only companion for several years after all of her family moved to thousands of kilometers away.
Nugget has also brought many smiles and laughter to people who have met her. She is so sweet, smart, protective of her human, but is also a tough fighter on the inside. When she was living in a horrendous shelter in Mexico, she would protect the other weaker dogs from bigger dogs. She is the most loyal dog we've ever seen. She doesn't let Fen leave her sight, and she follows us around everywhere we go.
We are giving it all for making sure Nugget has the best chance to beat cancer. Our incurred and planned costs for her treatment are below:

There's nothing more we want for Christmas, than for Nugget to beat cancer, or at least, for us to have as much time possible as possible with her.
