Help Nurse Holly Medical Bills

Hi Friends & Family,

This year has been full of ups and downs for us. To start off with some good news, we are expecting another baby BOY due in early August. We are SO excited to complete our family of 5!

Unfortunately, during this pregnancy, we have been given some scary news. Just over a month ago, Holly woke up with a swollen lymph node in her neck (about the size of a golf ball). After scans and 2 biopsies she has been diagnosed with Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma (suspected high grade = growing fast). She was able to get a full body MRI to determine that this cancer is currently ONLY located in her neck (praise the lord). Since this is suspected to be an aggressive/fast-growing form of lymphoma, she will need to start Chemo as soon as possible. Unfortunately, waiting until the baby is born to start treatment would not be in the best interest for her and baby as the risk of waiting is too high. Thankfully, studies have shown that chemo can be relatively safe for baby at this point in her pregnancy. She will also need radiation but it is not recommended at this time so that will likely start after baby is born.

With all that being said, if you know Holly, you know she is a good friend & loving mother. She gives kindness to the world with no expectations of anything in return. She gives her all to be a good nurse and care to others. This time she needs the love and support of us all. All the donations, prayers, support, and words of love and encouragement are more then appreciated as Holly starts this journey to kick cancers butt!!! **All donations will go directly toward medical expenses and any other unknown expenses that may occur while Holly is out of work during treatments/recovery/baby**
