Help Nute's Noodles of Bernal Heights
Donation protected
In 2014, Nute's Noodles started as a pop-up dinner of yummy Thai noodles and Japanese inspired ramen at 903 Cortland Ave. (Bernal Heights, San Francisco). In 2016, they were lucky enough to take over the space permanently. If you've been there you know that their family run kitchen is an important and comforting place for the community.
The Covid-19 Pandemic has taken a toll on everyone, especially small businesses. Nute's Noodles restaurant is a humble sized space. Even with the recent allowance of indoor dining, they feel the safest thing to provide (in addition to take-out) is outdoor dining. When they took over 903 Cortland Ave. they inherited a "sponsorship" for the public parklet in front of their space. However, since they don't have exclusive rights to that space, they built an extended "Shared Space” parklet adjacent at a significant cost. Sadly, soon after they were asked to take it down because of a neighbor's complaint. The costs to dismantle it is an additional hit for them. They are currently working with the city to gain exclusive rights to the public parklet in front of their restaurant during their business hours.
This GoFundMe will help with their recent losses as well as some future costs. Their main goal is to help retain the jobs of their employees by keeping their small business alive. An additional support would be to purchase delicious meals from their restaurant. In exchange you will get nourishing food while sustaining a small business in the Bernal community.
