Help NWT Evacuee Elvis Access Veterinary Services

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 6th: Elvis was peacefully put to rest this afternoon in Edmonton. It was a difficult decision but we didn’t want him to suffer anymore.

UPDATE September 5th: Elvis saw the veterinarian today and has been diagnosed with stage four kidney failure and pancreatitis. The treatment is $5,000.00. 

My family loves this dog dearly and we are all devastated with this information. Our hearts are broken. Elvis has been such an incredible part of our lives for 12 years and we are not ready to part with him. The treatment cost is completely out of my budget after being evacuated from Yellowknife for almost a month. We have completely exhausted all possible resources.

My name is Savannah Lantz and I am making this gofundme because my dear beloved dog Elvis needs to get blood work and x-rays. He is limping, not eating and is very lethargic and very likely needs medication, which is very $$$$$. We have been evacuated for almost a month from Yellowknife due to the wildfire situation. I cannot afford the the fees to get him the help he needs. Please help me help Elvis, he is 12 years old and normally full of life. Elvis is loved soooo much and we have had him since he was 12 weeks old. This evacuation has been very difficult and very expensive and any help is GREATLY appreciated. I love my dog dearly and cannot imagine life without him.

Funds will pay for Elvis to see the veterinarian as soon as possible.
