Help Oakland Students Get Housing/Clothing

Donation protected
For the past 6 months, our company has been working with Fremont High School to provide school supplies, mentorship, and career guidance to some truly incredible students who face seemingly insurmountable odds on a daily basis. We got the chance to get to know one of the school's teachers, Miss Miranda, who is so passionate and caring and like many teachers, goes above and beyond for her students. And it is clear that they love her as much as she loves them.
At our last visit to Fremont High, it was clear that Miss Miranda was upset and distracted, which is so unlike the usual joyous woman we've come to know. At the end of the class we found out that two of Miss Miranda's students have recently become homeless. After suffering one tragedy after another, these two students, with top grades and ambitions to study aerospace engineering, are now living in their car. Miss Miranda also relayed that she often sees them in the same clothes day after day and because the siblings are bigger kids, are often ridiculed.
I would like us to ban together as a community and support these teens and their family as they struggle to take care of basic needs that we often take for granted. They deserve a chance to be able to fulfill their potential, but that will never happen if they aren't given the support they need. This is what they mean when they say "it takes a village." WE are that village. Please give what you can. Every dime will be used to support this family in getting shelter and necessities.
