Help Oceanic Otters Compete at FLL World Championship

WE ARE THE STATE CHAMPIONS!!!

Team #306, the Oceanic Otters, have done it – we’re officially #1 in Massachusetts out of 490+ teams this season!

On December 14th at WPI’s Harrington Auditorium, our incredible team competed against 72 of the state’s best and emerged as STATE CHAMPIONS!

And now, the journey continues… We’re headed to the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) World Championship in Houston, TX, in April 2025!

(Fun fact: only 0.5% of FLL teams qualify for this event – making this an extraordinary achievement for our team!)

Why We Need Your Support

We’re raising $25,000 to cover travel expenses, registration fees, and project materials. This will help our team of 9-12-year-olds showcase their innovation project and robotics skills on the world stage.

This season, we’ve poured our hearts and minds into our innovation project: creating an affordable, DIY version of the Seabin—a floating trash collector designed to clean up pollution in local bodies of water. We believe everyone should have the power to protect their environment, so we’ve designed a solution that people can build and deploy themselves to keep their lakes, rivers, and ponds trash-free. With your help, we can share our idea on the global stage and inspire change far beyond Massachusetts!
