Help Octavio Fight Cancer and Heal ✨

My name is Maria and I am fundraising for my friend Octavio. Octavio was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer in November 2020. Any donations to relieve some financial burden as he seeks treatment and healing are greatly appreciated.

 

A message from Octavio:

 

Asking for help is scarce on my end. I am standing out of my comfort zone and asking for help in the biggest way possible. That includes sharing my story and journey with friends and loved ones. My stage 4 colorectal cancer diagnosis in 2020, forced me to slow down and ask for help in many forms. This condition/diagnosis/lifestyle has allowed me to try to appreciate the here and now and continue to work through life’s struggles with all the help possible and available to me. Shout out to all my prayer warriors and spiritual healers that have granted me strength to realign myself on this journey- continue sending your vibras. I have also been blessed with having my current medical status as complete Clinical response (cCr) to treatments. I will continue to follow up with my main surgeon every 3 months to help monitor my main tumor. Meanwhile, the liver surgeon, next month, will resect half of it.

 

 

 

One’s health and taking “care of yourself” has a whole new meaning and context to me. Stage 2 & 3 patients are given 3-5 years life expectancy. Needless to say, the odds are not in my favor. With the cards stacked against me, I am as ready as I’ll ever be for the next challenges that await. Seems like surgery is the next card I’ll be drawing.
