Hi everyone,

My name is Oday Basheer. I'm 22 years old and from the Gaza Strip, Palestine. For over 10 months, my life and the lives of those around me have been turned upside down by relentless conflict. No one could have predicted the length and severity of this crisis, which has taken so much from us.

I was in my final year of college, studying Web Technology & Cyber Security. I was actively seeking job opportunities and was on the verge of achieving something significant in my life. My proficiency in English led me to start learning French, and I had completed the basic levels. I also enjoyed taking guitar lessons and spending time with friends.

However, the war changed everything. I lost over ten friends, my uncle, and beloved cousins. The constant fear, lack of basic necessities, and the overwhelming grief have made life unbearable.

Asking for help is NOT easy for me, but I have reached a breaking point. I yearn for a normal life where I can feel safe, free from constant fear, and able to access basic needs like food and water.

I have decided to leave Gaza and start anew. With your support, I hope to raise enough funds to cover the evacuation fees through the Rafah border, settle in Egypt, and enroll in a university to complete my education. Here’s how the funds will be used:
