Help Officer Frazier

Hello All, Our family is wanting to inform those who worked with and knew Larry Frazier (Officer Frazier), that as a result of medical complications, Larry is having to have both of his lower legs amputated tomorrow (6/20/23). After being released from the hospital, Larry will be spending a good amount of time in a rehab facility to help him gain the skills and strength that he needs to begin his new life with his disability. Many people knew Larry as Officer Frazier from his 29 years as a Plano Police Officer. After retiring from the Police Department in 2009, Larry accepted a job with the Plano Independent School District as a Security Specialist and remained there until he retired again on March 1st of this year. Throughout his 43 years of public service, Larry touched many lives and made many friends along the way. Larry gave his all to the City of Plano because of his love for her and the people who reside here. Larry has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and well-wishes he's received over this past month, and he is thankful for everyone who has been a part of his life. We are starting this fundraiser to help raise funds to assist our family with the costs of medical equipment and home renovations. We are also looking to get him connected with some of the organizations that help hometown heroes, first responders, and school district employees that suddenly become disabled. We would greatly appreciate any and all assistance that you can provide whether it be financially or with helping us connect to organizations that can help Larry with his new life.
