Help Officer Howe Fight Rare Cancer
Donation protected
Aaron Howe has always lived in a giving state of mind, putting his life on the line with his Marine Corp Service and his subsequent career as a Police Officer. His 5-years in the military saw him as a member of the F. A. S. T. Group, (Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team) who responded to the October 2000 Al Quaida bombing of the U.S.S. Cole in Yemen. His multiple decorations include the Humanitarian Service Medal. For the past 17 years, he has been a valued officer within the Norfolk Police Department. He has worked in community patrol, fugitive squad, special crimes unit and also served as a school resource officer, making connections and significant differences in the lives of students, and modeling compassionate behavior for his own 2 teenage children.
Just before Christmas he and his family received the devastating diagnosis of a rare form of throat cancer. Already reeling from a second major orthopedic surgery just after Thanksgiving, the prospect of upcoming cancer treatments, and accompanying expenses has painted a bullseye on severely depleted budget resources. Already on light duty this medical situation may also remove that source of income. Hence this request for help.
We thank you; fellow Marines, First Responders, Family, Friends, and Neighbors and those unknown to us, for your prayers and support.
