Support Officer Jason Tillson in his Recovery and Healing

My name is Darlene Freykar and I am organizing this Go Fund Me on behalf of my nephew, Jason Tillson, in the hopes of softening the financial burden he and his young family are currently experiencing.

Jason proudly serves with the Midland Park Police Department as a Patrolman and Community Policing Officer. During his 11 year tenure he has also served as a School Resource Officer for five years and is also responsible for resurrecting the Midland Park Junior Police Academy.

Jason has recently undergone spinal surgery, after having been hospitalized for several months due to continuous denials by his insurance carrier which exacerbated his condition, prolonging his recovery and time out of work. Despite tremendous efforts on the part of his surgeon as well as others to get this surgery approved, he was forced to assume financial responsibility for this very necessary surgery. Needless to say, his medical bills are overwhelming and he has exhausted all of his sick time and is now receiving partial pay.

Jason had dedicated his life to helping others and serving his community and is now in need of our assistance. All proceeds will be used to help pay his medical expenses and support his family as he focuses on healing and returning to the job he loves.
