Help Officer Nathan Rauch Fight Cancer
Donation protected
From the time he was very little Nathan would generously give anything he had. He was fifteen or sixteen when he decided that the way he wanted to leave the world a better place was to serve and protect his community. Being there for people on the darkest days of their life.
That’s how he spent the next 7 years. He volunteered his own time with the Mcdonough County Auxiliary, then began to serve with Astoria Police Department, Brown County Police, and now for Rushville Police Department. Where he dedicated his time to the new department K9, Cody. He has successfully trained 2 dogs.
Now Nathan needs his community to rally around him.
Nathan is 29 but since November he has been experiencing pain. On Monday, January 2, he was hospitalized because the medication he was using could no longer control it. Tests revealed he has T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He is starting Chemo and will be getting extensive treatments.
The only hospital that had space available with the right kind of treatments was 3 hours away in Colombia, Mo. This means his wife, Jacey, will be traveling 3 hours back and forth from the hospital to their home and daughter. They will also need money for lodging while she is there, and care for their 6-year-old daughter while they are away.
Please, don’t think any amount is too small! Honestly, even $5 helps! Together we can help Officer Rauch and his family as they fight cancer!
To avoid fees you can also VENMO @jaceyrauch.
