Help Officer Taylor get a proper burial

Update: The services have been paid for. Thank you to all that donated or shared. I have so many people still offering to donate in spite of that I decided to open it back up. I took care of my mom & brother fully for the last 5 years. My financial world is on a stand still until I find something new. I know that God has something wonderful in store for my family. Hello everyone,As I even pen this my heart is breaking. Officer Taylor is a Montgomery Police Officer that sustained an injury in February of 2017. He is also a Navy Reserve Corpsman. Officer Taylor has battled with the injuries sustained from this for 6 years. Unfortunately today we have learned that because Carlos Taylor lived longer than a 3 year mark, he no longer receives benefits. No burial Insuarance, no life insurance through the City of Montgomery. In all the years of being Carlos’ caretaker, I never would’ve dreamed that the job he loved the most would be the job to abandon him when he needed them most. He fought relentlessly for his community. He loved The City of Montgomery. Today I not only grieve because of the loss of my brother, but I grieve because I may not be able to give Officer Carlos the burial I know he truly deserves.
