Help Officer Tony Macias Battle Cancer

Hi my name is Jewel,

I am starting this GoFundME for my husband Tony Macias and our Family.

Tony is a 37-year-old Police officer in Bishop Texas and a father of 6 and was diagnosed with cancer on Thanksgiving Day.

Tonys been dealing with stomach issues for months and going to the Doctors in Kingsville, Texas. Many tests and imaging were done, only to be diagnosed with pancreatitis and underwent surgery to have his gallbladder removed. Thinking his problem had been solved Tony was happy to go back home to his family to recover; but he was rapidly losing weight and not able to keep food down. After another trip to the emergency room in Kingsville, Texas he was transferred to Spohn Shoreline in Corpus Christi where they did an upper and lower GI and discovered a tumor in his stomach that was blocking any food from going into his intestines. Surgery was done on Thanksgiving Day and it was found to be cancer. Tony is now at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. We are asking for your help during this hard time so that we can continue to pay bills, cover unforeseen medical cost, and I can travel the 230+ miles there to be able to support Tony in his battle. Anything helps. We understand that with this economy and being the holiday season that what we are asking is tough.
