Help Offset Legal Fees

Hi everyone., I’m reaching out I am wondering if anyone would be willing to help offset a legal bill I incurred with Inertia.

In November 2022 we became involved in a lawsuit for a personal injury claim that happened at an event of mine, this injury/incident was absolutely no fault of mine. It was this lawyers practice is to sue everyone involved with this event . Promoter, Artist, Venue. Etc.

I presented this lawsuit to my insurance company (as we are insured) and to my shock and dismay, all the while being a client for over two decades with this company, they claimed no obligation to defend due to this occurrence being an exclusion on my policy, and left me to handle this on my own.

I retained a lawyer and was not released from this lawsuit for 14 months, I was unnecessarily carried through the proceedings. In mediation a resolution was established between the plaintiff and other parties of the defence, and I was finally Released from this proceeding.

We currently have received 1521$ in donations so we have deducted this from the amount outlined in then body of the message.

ON December 30th, I was presented with the final bill for the professional services rendered in my defence. For the release and discharge of me from this lawsuit. I was billed a sum of $20,200.16

For professional and legal reasons, I cannot disclose further details regarding the artist and venue involved in this suit.
