Help Oglala Lakota Preserve Ancestral Teachings
Donation protected
I am seeking assistance for my family back home on the Pine Ridge Indian reservation at Wakpamni Lake, South Dakota. We are Oglala Lakota. Our ceremonial Sundance circle is in major need of repair. The wood is terribly rotted. These grounds give hope, healing and encouragement to many amongst the harsh realities of modern, rural reservation life through Lakota traditional ceremony- Inipi (sweat lodge ceremony), Yuwipi (healing ceremony), Haŋbléčheya (vision quest), Wiwáŋyaŋg Wačípi (sun dance) and Wanáǧi-Wačhípi (ghost dance). We are welcoming to all that attend. We are established as a non-profit 501 C3 under Ancestral Teachings Church. We have quotes for the proper materials to rebuild for long lasting structure. Please know, your charity is so greatly appreciated and your contributions will touch generations. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
