It is with a heavy and humble heart that we ask for kōkua for the ʻOhana Garcia. My sister Darice her husband Louis Garcia III and their ʻOhana are safe MAHALO KE AKUA! and like most of the ʻOhana from Lahaina they lost their home in the fire. Uncle Louis and Aunty Rudybelle raised their 5 daughters and one son in that hale. and their kids..., kids have spent countless days and nights there making memories together in that garage. It was beautiful to experience at family gatherings there. Ainakea Rd. felt like a little tight-knit community people took care of each other, watched each other's kids while riding bike on the road and was happy to give what they had when they had it.
As we continue to PRAY for everyone in beautiful Lahaina town, we are hoping to start planning for the future.
