Help O'Keefe Family Rebuild After Fire on Buttonwood Lane

Donation protected
I am the sister of the Kim and Tim O'keefe, the family who had the house fire on Buttownwood Lane.
On June 1st a battery that was in my sisters garage caught fire. My Brother-in-law tried to put it out with the fire extingisher, but the battery exploded, and caught fire and fast. The house was in flames within minutes. My sister is an animal lover, and had 2 cats inside. She recently had to put one of her furbabies down not even 3 months ago, and is still heartbroken from that. She had 2 cats inside the house on fire and without thinking Tim & Kim went back into the house on fire with black smoke pouring out and were trying to find the two cats. She did not find her one cat Loki, and the smoke was so bad and the heat was so intense she could not stay in the house. My brother-in-law said you could not even see your hand if you put your arm out. One cat was found and the firefighter whose name I do not know but we will call him an angel was outside performing CPR on the one cat, Odin. He then provided oxygen for my sister's cat and sent it with my sister so she could take her baby to the ER. A neighbor who my sister did not know well drove her and her cat to the animal hospital. The street of Buttonwood has some amazing neighbors. This is the news we need to hear about Levittown not only bad. When a community is struck by something like this everyone came out to offer help. Many people bash Ltown, but what I saw was amazing. Complete strangers coming out of their homes on Buttonwood LN to offer whatever they could.. One little girl even brought size 8 shoes since my sister was without shoes.
Odin is in the ICU and is critical condition but is responding well to medicine. Please pray Odin. The fire was out and my brother-in-law was looking for Loki, the other kitty, hoping to God he was hiding and alive. Loki did not make it. My brother in law carried him out and laid him down and his face said it all. I knew Loki was gone. He wanted so bad to save Loki for his family. Since they all inhaled smoke they went to the hospital, and my brother-in-law and neice were discharged the same day but my sister was not. She has since been discharged, and besides being completely heartbroken over her furbabies she is will be fine. A whole entire life was changed within 30 minutes. The house my neice was raised in was burnt down, my sister lost another furbaby, and one is fighting for his life. We are raising funds for my sister and her family. Mainly to help cover Odin's medical bills which already are over $7000 and then for everyday life essentials. They have insurance and everything is replaceable in the house lives are not. but needs are now, and insurance will take a bit to process a claim, and they do not provide for a kitty who needs medical help NOW. Anyone who has taken an animal to emergency knows how expensive it is and how you need to pay or put a credit card down on file now for them to help your animal.
I saw a great community come together on so many social media platforms on June 1st. FB, The ring, the BirchValley group, the Levittown group.. The news needs to cover this type of community coming together to help a stranger out that is need. My sister and her family are forever greatful. Please continue to pray for the O'Keefe's, and if you can donate anything it would be greatly appreciated.
