Hello everyone,

As the owner of Old Soul Vintage in Detroit, Michigan, I have some exciting news! We have the opportunity to open up a store front in the historic Cass Corridor (Midtown) on Cass and MLK boulevard.

Many that know me personally understand that growing Old Soul has been a passion of mine since it began its roots in 2014. Now Old Soul has the opportunity to grow in an actual brick and mortar in the city it thrives in and we need some help!

Supporting the opening of the shop will not only benefit my dreams of being a shop owner, but it will benefit the community. Old Soul gives monthly to charities and we've been doing so since the beginning. We also work with local artists, designers, and photographers to help get their product and services out as well.

This shop will be a community oriented shop. True vintage, affordable, sustainable, creative, and historic. Not only will Old Soul products be available, but we will invite the community of entrepreneurs sell their items with us. I believe that the revitalization of Detroit stems through each other. We have to give back! My passion for working with like minded individuals, fashion, history, and philanthropy is imbedded in my blood and I have to try every option in order for this dream to become and reality. I promise you're not only benefiting me, but you're benefitting the entire community and surrounding. I can't stress that enough.

I have so many ideas for this space some of them including: a small skate shop to make it easy and coinvent for the skate community to grab a board, we will have pop ups frequently, art galleries, shows, charitable drives, free in house tailoring, etc! Anything to help the community and make for a great shop experience both online and in store.

The funds donated to this project will support:

- First year's rent
- Any legal restrictions from the city that require large amounts of money
- some product
- visual aspects to the shop (shelving, desk, hangers, etc)
- office materials (shopping bags, ink, shipping supplies, etc)

It is VERY expensive to open up a shop, its nearly impossible. That is why I am reaching out and working so tirelessly to jump this insane hurdle. I've never felt more sure that I can make this shop last and that I will always make a positive retail impact in the community.

If you donate towards Old Soul's dream there will be gifts and an endless amount of gratitude towards your generosity!

Tier one: $1-$10 you'll receive a sticker and 10% off the grand opening online or in store

Tier two: $15-$20 you'll receive a sticker, a t shirt, and 20% off at the grand opening in store and online

We are hoping to open the store by October 2019 making for a great start to 2020!

Truthfully, any thing towards this helps, even just sharing to others in your network.

I cant thank my friends, family, staff and customers enough who have helped me get to this point. The vintage community here is so amazing and I hope to stay. Thank you!! From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Much love,

Mary C.
