Help Oleksandr fight cancer

We are fundraising to help our dear friend Oleksandr and his family. This past December, he celebrated three delightful events in a row: eight years since his future wife finally made it to Canada to join him after years of separation, their eight-year wedding anniversary and his lovely wife’s Birthday.

No one could guess that soon his and the life of his family would turn into a nightmare with a diagnosis of stage 4 stomach cancer, which unfortunately has metastases to his abdominal cavity. Being just 40 years old, Oleksandr is fighting for his life. He started his journey with chemotherapy in December 2022, but he still has long way to go. He has strong abdominal pain; thus, he is frequently admitted to the hospital. Because of this, Oleksandr has had to pause his job commitments, resulting in lost income. Oleksandr has high-school age son from first marriage who just moved to Canada from Ukraine to live in Oleksandr’s family about a year ago. All financial duties for the entire family now lay on the shoulders of his wife Anna, who cannot work extra hours because she is busy caring for Oleksandr in addition to continuing her College studies. Despite facing medical, emotional, and financial difficulties, Oleksandr stays very strong, kind, and caring.

The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to help support Oleksandr and his family. The family will be very grateful for any support they receive during this difficult time. The money will be used to cover medical and living expenses for Oleksandr and his family.
