One year after Russia's war on Ukraine, what's it like for those who stayed?

According to Olga, walking through war is like being engulfed by a huge powerful ocean wave but you have to survive so you learn new skills. It is the small acts of kindness and solidarity that keep her going.

You may remember the last time I wrote to you in December 2022, I asked for your help to enable Olga to buy a generator during a harsh winter with many power cuts. The good news is we succeeded in helping the shelter get a generator.
