Help Olguie get something off their chest

Hi! My name is Olguie and I’m a 29 year old Transmasc Puerto Rican artist looking for support paying for a life changing gender-affirming surgery. This is something I’ve been needing for years and will improve my quality of life significantly. My surgery is scheduled for late September 2023 and payment is due in full at time of surgery. The cost of the surgery with my insurance is $30,000 and insurance is covering a portion that I’ve outlined below. I will also need to take time off from my physically demanding job as a bike mechanic for 6 weeks and am outlining the costs I will need help covering while recovering from surgery. Any and all donations are appreciated and helpful in elevating this huge financial burden.

I’ve exhausted every avenue in trying to obtain this surgery through my own financial means. Ive been kicked off Medicaid, gone to multiple consultations and have started the process multiple times through the course of multiple years. I’m exhausted emotionally, physically, and financially and getting this surgery is necessary for my survival.
