Help Oli Recover from His Recent Stroke

"You don't have to, you get to"

Kregg "Oli" Oliver has recently had some major medical issues.

He was hospitalized when his hernia went septic last November,  and while the doctors were investigating how far the infection went into his chest, they noticed he his aorta was about to rupture (Aortic Dissection) due to a bicuspid heart valve (Birth Defect).

Both conditions were life threatening, and the doctors admitted Oli to treat is septic hernia first.  He had surgery in late October and had to recover before the doctor could operate on his heart.

In December, Oli underwent open heart surgery to replace his bicuspid heart valve with a cow heart valve and put a stint around his aorta valve so it will not rupture.

Oli was in recovery and unable to work until late March.  With bills piling up, Oli managed to get by with the help of family.  He finally got a chance to start work back up in the Army National Guard and was about to start work up again at CSX as a train conductor when Oli suffered a stroke last week.

He is recovering quickly, and his future looks bright.  He will need to  go to speech therapy, but we are lucky, that is all.

With this additional set back, I am asking you to help out Oli with whatever you can.

He needs help with medical bills and living expenses until he can return to work.

His immediate need is for $2,000 to pay for rent, utilities, and food for this month.  He can use further support for his medical bills and June's living expenses.

He hopes to return to work no later than July.

His goal is $5,000, but could use as much as we can gather, as the (3) major hospital stays carry a hefty price tag.

Oli has the biggest heart of anyone I know, and I was lucky to serve with him in the Army for a few years, many moons ago.

I am proud to call him a brother, and so happy he has made it through the past several medical issues.

He and I appreciate any and all help you can provide.

It is time to take care of one of our own.

Thank you all and much love!
